I began learning how to build website's and creating web graphics just after the Internet became available to the general public. It was just a hobby for me initially so I spent quite a few years just trying to learn more and more. My first website was just a fan website for my favorite football team (Denver Broncos) because I couldn't think of any other topic at the time. You have to remember that early on not very many people had their own website.  Funny thing was that the website I created became one of the busiest fan sites for my team on the web. I was also creating computer wallpaper's for other Broncos fans. In 1997 and in 1998 the website became so busy (More than 2,000 unique visitor's per day) I couldn't keep up because I was receiving email from more than 100 people a day and I always made a point of answering each and every email. This also had quite a bit to do with the fact that the Broncos were in the Superbowl two years in a row. Anyway, the point is that is where I learned I also had a talent for getting a website ranked at the top of the search engines.

I never thought of becoming a web designer during those days though because I had a great job working for a Silicon Valley company called Komag (Now part of Western Digital). I worked for them for 18 years and finally left when Komag moved most of their U.S. operations to Malaysia. That was in 2002.

In March of 2003 my lovely wife and I decided to make a big change in our lives and that is when we moved to beautiful Southern Utah (Washington City near St. George). To try and maintain the salary I was making at Komag I decided to become a real estate agent in both Southern Nevada and in Southern Utah. To be honest I hated real estate because it was the first time I had ever done any type of sales work and it just wasn't for me.  While serving as a Realtor I put a website together that quickly became the number one real estate website in Southern Utah. That was more than four years ago and the website is still #1 even though it is now owned by Jodi Van Cleve. That website is now included with my portfolio and testimonials for this website.

I took advice I had given to my son Jarrad over the years and began doing what I love the most, designing and promoting website's. To this point I haven't advertised at all because the word got out among Realtor's here locally that I was very good at building and promoting website's. So far I have only been doing real estate websites because the agent's I am doing this for will tell other real estate agent's about me. I want to make sure that you know that we are not limited to just real estate sites, it just happens to be the way we are getting our business started.

I am really looking forward to building this business as both my son and I love doing this type of work! We also love the fact that when one of our current clients makes a sale it pretty much pays for all the design work and SEO work we have done up to this point. They will own their new website's for as long as they choose to keep it hosted and every sale made after the initial one is gravy for them. If you are selling something you need to have a website that people can find and that is what we do.

Lastly, I do everything possible to avoid being a procrastinator. If I can get something done well today I will do it. I also take pride in the fact that I answer the phone and respond immediately to problems. That way they don't build up to a point where I could be overwhelmed with issues.
